A 6 hour hike in the Virunga Mountain range in Rwanda resulted in a very close encounter with a family of wild mountain gorillas. As there are a little over 1000 individuals left in the world this was a very special moment. Seeing them playing on the slopes as a family was one of the most memorable nature moments of my life.
