Now for a something a little different.  As most of my painting are still down at the Coast Hotel, I will be displaying my woven wearable art and explaining the process of taking the raw fibre from the spinning process to the weaving.  I will have a good selection of jackets, wraps, infinity scarves and shrugs available, just in time for the cooler weather.  "Slow Fashion" of sustainable clothing is something I am excited about and I am enjoying exploring all the wonderful possibilities. 

Sharing the garden with me will be a fantastic potter and a marvelous jeweller.  We are at  3735 Ascot Drive, north end of the Cedar Hill Golf course.  Tour runs 11 - 4 on August 28 and 29.  Lots of parking at King's Pond. www.annewbowen.ca

I am excited to be invited back to the Coast Hotel to show my work for the month of August.  The paintings will be hung in the lobby areas as well as the restaurant.  The hotel is a lovely venue for artwork and I hope,  if you are in the Fisherman's Wharf area, that you will pop in. www.annebowen.ca

I am thrilled that Richard Wong (watercolors) Judi Neudorf (exotic jewelry) and Bob Fahlman (collectible Knives) will be joining me in the garden on June 27 from 10:00 to 4:00 showing their latest achievements.  I will be showing my weaving "slow fashion" as well as my latest paintings.  Andy and Mike will provide live music in the afternoon.  Our half acre garden is located at 3735 Ascot Drive, north end of the Cedar Hill Golf Course.  Lots of parking at Kings Pond a few yards down the street.  For a sneak preview www.annebowen.ca

Happy Spring everyone, it has been a challenging winter and I am really excited to be part of a group of 6 local artists exhibiting our latest work at the Chapel Gallery, St. Matthias Church, 600 Richmond Ave.  The gallery will be open on March 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21.  Fridays and Saturdays from noon until 4:00 and Sundays noon until 3:00.  I will be in attendance on Saturdays March 6, 13 and Sunday the 21.  This is a free event and covid protocols will be in place.  More paintings at www.annebowen.ca

Hello Everyone

Just a gentle reminder of our artisan and art show at St. Luke's Church hall (corner of Cedar Hill and Cedar Hill X roads) this Saturday, Oct. 24, 11 - 4:00 pm.  We have some very talented artists, weaver, jeweller, potter, art cards etc. There will be controlled entrance to ensure social distancing and mandatory masks required to keep everyone safe.  Parking off Cedar Hill X road.  Lots of gift ideas for Christmas.  Paintings and weaving can be viewed at www.annebowen.ca
